In Errante en la sombra Andahazi has done nothing less than create a new genre, the ‘musical novel’. In it he represents a crisscross web of fates: Juan Molina a brilliant but unknown tango singer, Ivonne his sweetheart, and the legendary Carlos Gardel, his idol.The characters sing out their feelings through forty brand new tangos of the author’s own making.
